WYCHBOLD-based garden centre Webbs is beating the current credit crunch by opening two specialist Christmas shops. The stores are at Merry Hill and at the Westfield Derby shopping centre. The shops will sell Christmas trees, decorations, lights, figures and scenes, collectables, as well as a range of gifts. Webbs already welcomes more than a million customers each year to Wychbold.

On Thursday, November 20, there will be an informal gathering at the Methodist Centre, in Stratford Road, Bromsgrove, from 1.15- 3.15pm. On Friday, November 21, there will be a meeting of the Worcestershire ME support group between 2 and 3pm which Peter Luff, MP for Mid-Worcestershire, will be attending. A lunch, cuppa and chat will also be held at Littleheath Garden Centre, Littleheath Lane in Lickey End on Monday, November 24, from 12.30pm.
